‘You Can’t Be Alakufo and NURTW Chairman At the Same Time’ – Chief Ololade Adefisoye Tells Eji-Ogbe

The Alakufo -designate, Chief Lamidi Ololade Adefisoye has told Alhaji Abideen Olajide (a.k.a Eji-Ogbe) to stop parading himself as the Alakufo of Akufo and Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Oyo State at the same time.

Chief Ololade Adefisoye advised Alhaji Eji-Ogbe to drop one ambition, either to become the Alakufo of Akufo or claim the Chairmanship of the Oyo NURTW.

The Alakufo -designate made reference to a news story published by Tribune Online on February 13, 2025, in which Eji-Ogbe was referred to as Chairman of Oyo NURTW.

He noted that, “In that news story, Eji-Ogbe spoke as Chairman of Oyo NURTW and accused Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (a k.a Oluomo) of meddling in the affairs of the road transport union in the state”

Chief Ololade Adefisoye accused Eji-Ogbe of being too desperate for positions, saying this has pushed him to drag Governor Seyi Makinde of the state to court on two different matters.

The Alakufo -designate said, “Alhaji Eji-Ogbe took Governor Makinde to court over NURTW matter and also on the Alakufo stool. He is chasing two rats at the same time and will lose the two.

“Does he wants to be going to motor parks and garages with the Alakufo crown?”
